Salvation: The Grand Summer Ball...
review
One of the most decadent ballrooms in London, the New Connaught Rooms, hosted Salvation's Grand Summer Ball. The lavish, ravishing venue in central London's Covent Garden guaranteed the constant clunking of jaws hitting the ground as the attendees arrived!
The opulent New Connaught Rooms is one of London’s most sought-after venues, with a history dating back over 200 years. It has recently benefited from a £1 million refurbishment and boasts exquisite wood paneling, beautiful ornate high ceilings and glittering crystal chandeliers – it’s a venue that aims to impress!
Circuit-style mayhem and red carpet raucousness lifted decadence to new heights as it swept up the staircase with an invitation to the cutting-edge of clubbing. Men were swinging from the chandeliers with the most beautiful ‘Prince Charmings’ looks imaginable!
This was the most alluring party of the summer season - an attractive invitation to see and be seen amongst tympanum-tight torsos. Great bodies and the most exhilarating entertainment was delivered with delight by the world’s sexiest gogo boys, stilt-walkers and diamond drag and they commanded our attention as the beautiful and the damned seeked Salvation.
The crowd turned into romance and passion beneath the crystal chandeliers with illuminating sounds by stellar superstar DJs Elliott J Brown, Sharon O’Love, Luke Hope, Pier Morrocco, Per QX, and Mattias. Cool music, wild and funky, there could be few better places to be. Salvation ravers also enjoyed the musical delights of fabulous Narcotic Thrust diva Tonnic who was performing live her appropriately titled track 'Salvation'.
Ever bold and beautiful, the Salvation Grand Summer Ball promised to be the biggest party London would see this year. I'm not sure if that happened, but with a capacity of 2000 the event was packed with style, sass and supreme sexiness. A stunning event by all accounts.
