Much to everyone's delight, the sun was beaming down on us as we followed the parade through to Trafalgar Square and caught some of the performances and speakers on the main stage. A good mix of comedy, music and politics was struck - ensuring that everyone went away smiling but with a better understanding of the problems that the LGBT community faces in this country and further afield, as well as some of the fantastic work being done to make the world a better place...

Pride 2008 sees, perhaps aptly, a fairytale adventure theme, and pridegoers are invited to dress for the occasion inspired by fairytale, myth and legend. A parade through the capital's famous streets ends with a huge rally in Trafalgar Square and partying in the streets of Soho.
