Dave Lynn's Cabaret Academy 2008 - The Industry Showcase. After two months of work, the members of Dave's academy took their place on stage at Charles Street to impress the gathered industry crowd.
Hosted by Dave Lynn and Pat Cruise, a select crowd of guests from the local and gay press, cabaret venues and established acts got the first chance to see the shiny new acts emerging from this year's academy. The new stars-in-the-making included Lady La Rue, Just Lorna, Violet Venom, Donna Matrix, Auntie Robbie, Peter Davies and Tammy Twinkle.
